Questions people ask
Is this Minecraft skin editor free?
Yes. The skin editor is free to use with no account, and exporting your finished 64×64 PNG costs nothing.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It runs entirely in your browser. Your work is kept in the browser's own storage as you paint, so closing the tab does not lose it.
Can I edit someone else's Minecraft skin?
You can load any player's current public skin by username and edit your own copy of it. It becomes your working file — the other player's account is untouched.
Does it support slim (Alex) skins?
Yes. You can switch between the classic 4-pixel arm and the slim 3-pixel arm at any point, and the editor keeps your artwork while it rebuilds the model.
What size are Minecraft skins?
Modern Minecraft skins are 64×64 PNG files with an optional second layer for hats and jackets. The editor exports exactly that, so the file is ready to upload as-is.
How do I put the skin into Minecraft?
Download the PNG, then upload it to your profile at minecraft.net or through the Minecraft Launcher's Skins tab. Bedrock players import it from the dressing room in-game.
