Refund Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. What you can buy
CreateTextures sells monthly subscription plans — Coal, Iron and Diamond — which raise how many packs you can keep saved in the cloud. We also offer an optional one-off Support payment, which is a voluntary contribution and grants no plan or benefit. Everything else, including the whole editor, is free.
2. Our 14-day refund window
You can request a full refund within 14 days of any charge — a first payment, a renewal, or a Support payment. You do not need to give a reason.
We can do this because nothing is locked behind payment: the editor, 3D paint, live collaboration, and Java and Bedrock export are all free and unlimited. A plan only adds cloud pack slots, so you can be certain the product works for you before you pay anything.
3. After 14 days
Beyond 14 days we do not normally refund a period that has already been used, but cancelling is always immediate and free — see section 5. If something went genuinely wrong, tell us anyway. Examples of things we will refund outside the window:
- you were charged after cancelling
- you were charged more than once for the same period
- a fault on our side meant you could not use the plan you paid for
- someone used your payment method without permission
- we discontinue a paid plan mid-period
We would rather refund an honest request than keep money from someone who feels short-changed.
4. How to request a refund
Message us on our Discord community with the email address you used at checkout, or email the developer contact address listed on our Google Play store page.
You can also go directly to Paddle, our payment provider, at paddle.net — enter your email and they will find your order.
We aim to reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. Cancelling instead
If you simply do not want to be charged again, cancel rather than asking for a refund. Open Plans and press Manage to reach Paddle's billing portal. Cancelling stops all future charges and you keep your plan until the end of the period you have already paid for.
If you go over your pack limit afterwards, your existing packs stay safe and readable — nothing is deleted. You just cannot create new cloud packs until you are back under the cap.
6. Who processes the payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payments, refunds, taxes and invoicing on our behalf, and their buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
7. Your statutory rights
This policy sits alongside your legal rights and does not replace them. If you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another region with a statutory cooling-off period for digital purchases, those rights apply in full — and where they are more generous than this policy, they win.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before opening a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback can suspend your account automatically while it is investigated, and it is almost always slower than simply asking us — we would rather just refund you.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and adjust the "Last updated" date above. The policy in force on the date of your purchase is the one that applies to it.
